"This project attempts to recover some of the senses, emotions and experience of a space or moment in time that is lost when captured in a photograph. Using photoshop, I adjusted image properties such as brightness, saturation, and contrast in an animation to give a living quality to an image. I chose to work on an image of a Joshua Tree in the Mojave Desert. This is a personal sacred space where I go to connect with myself, my family, and the earth. My aim was to capture the sense of awe and warmth I experience when I’m there. "
